Boozy Shaved Ice
If you’re hosting a get-together, there’s no reason that only the kids should get to enjoy shaved ice treats. For the adults, you can offer boozy shaved ice with flavored syrups and alcohol poured over top. Just be sure to keep your alcoholic versions separate from the kids’ desserts!
Here are a few delicious alcoholic snow cones/shaved ice recipes that you can try.
Margarita Snow cones
Make these Margarita Snow Cones if you want a beautiful slushy cocktail for a warm summer day. This recipe mixes up tequila, Triple Sec, and lime juice, and is perfect if you want a great cold margarita refreshment treat.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 oz. Of Triple sec
- 4 oz. Of Tequila
- 1 tbsp. of honey
- 1/2 c. of lime juice
- Margarita salt
- 2 c. of ice
- Lime wedges
Preparation
In a measuring cup, combine triple sec, tequila, lime juice, and honey and stir until honey fully dissolves.
Put a lime wedge around the edges of the glasses and dip in salt.
Blend ice using the blender or shave ice machine. The consistency should resemble shaved ice. Scoop shaved ice into glasses and pour tequila mixture over shaved ice. Garnish you Margarita Snow Cones with a lime round and serve.
Wine Snow Cones
These alcoholic snow cones are perfect for an at-home date night or summer cocktail party. You can experiment with different kinds of wines, but we recommend using one of your favorites.
To prepare wine snow cones, you’ll need chilled wine of your choice, paper cones, and of course – shaved ice.
Crash the ice in a blender or food processor. If you like a slushy snow cone with fine ice, buying shaved ice from a local snow cone shop might be your best option.
Whichever kind of wine you choose you can’t make mistake, but keep in mind that most people expect a snow cone with sweet flavor, and a sweeter wine with rich taste will likely be more popular with guests.

Boozy shaved ice with sangria and blackberries
Ingredients for 6 snow cones:
- 1/2 cup of orange juice
- 1/2 cup of juice from a pomegranate
- 3/4 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 10 blackberries
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 cups of red wine
Preparation:
Mix the water and sugar into a saucepan until it melts.
Add pomegranate juice, orange juice, and cinnamon sticks, bringing to a boil and simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes.
Place the blackberries by infusing the mixture until they lose their color.
After removing the blackberries, pour the wine and let simmer for five minutes, then remove the cinnamon sticks.
Pour the mixture into a large container to make it freeze overnight.
Serve in snow cone papers.
Boozy shaved ice with tequila and mint
Ingredients for 8 snow cones:
- 2 cups of Tequila
- 1 cup of lime juice
- 1/2 cup of St-Germain (or some other brand of elderflower liqueur)
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of mint leaves
- 1 cup of basil leaves
- Crushed ice
Preparation:
Combine tequila, lime juice and elderflower liqueur in a bottle
Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the mint leaves and basil for 15 seconds before removing them from the boiling water with a spoon to submerge them under icy water for 60 seconds.
Bring the water and sugar to a boil in another saucepan
When the sugar is dissolved, add the mint leaves and basil
Put everything in a bottle
Pour one-eighth of each bottle on looted ice put in snow cone paper or a glass
Snow Cones With Pisco And Strawberries
Ingredients for 8 cones:
- 1 cup of hulled strawberries
- 45 ml of lime juice
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/4 cup of water
- 90 ml of pisco
- Sliced strawberries
- Looted ice
Preparation
Pour the sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved, then cool
Add the strawberries and crush them with a wooden spoon
Filter the contents over a bowl with a fine strainer to remove the juice
Put lime juice and pisco in the bowl that contains strawberries, water, and sugar
Let it cool in the fridge
Pour the liquid obtained on ice looted in snow cone paper
Decorate with sliced strawberries and enjoy with a straw
Snow Cones With Beer, Raspberries, And Lemon
Ingredients for 8 cones:
- 2 bottles of beer
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of water
- The interior of a lemon
- 1 cup frozen or fresh raspberries
Preparation
Pour beer into a container that is refrigerated
Freeze for 4 hours, stirring the beer, which slowly freezes with a fork every 45 minutes to obtain the desired texture
Put the sugar, water, lemon, and frozen raspberries in a saucepan
Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved
Remove from heat, wait one hour for the syrup to cool
Filter the contents of the pan over a bowl through a strainer to remove the juice
Pour the syrup into a bottle
Transfer some of the frozen beer to snow cone paper and pour syrup over it.
